The Elizabethan was a English furniture style starting from the renaissance period to late Victorian during the time of Queen Elizabeth. Furniture makers in England during this time were greatly influenced by Italy. Oak and walnut were popular during this period.
However, furniture was still somewhat bare during this period. People preferred to show their extravagance through other things such as tapestries or carpet.
